Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Like many organisations, we have been working hard to protect people that come into our building and participate in our activities from Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). We have carried out a Risk Assessment and have put into place a number of additional measures to help prevent infections, such as increased cleaning and ventilation. This Risk Assessment is regularly reviewed in light of changing circumstances in Wales, such as updated regulations or guidance, and case rates. Please note that numbers for events and activities may be restricted to help us manage the number of people attending and to assure ‘physical distancing’. You may need need to book in advance when advised on our Calendar page. We ask that everyone who comes into our premises or to one of our events follows some basic precautions: 1. Please do not come into our premises if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, are quarantining following overseas travel or have been told to self-isolate by Test, Trace and Protect. Please see the NHS Wales Website for more information about the symptoms and to get advice on how to get tested. 2. Please use the hand sanitiser provided when you enter the building and after handling any shared resources. 3. We have increased ventilation in the Hall and will monitor carbon dioxide levels as this indicates how fresh the air is. Temperatures may be lower than normal so you may wish to wear an extra layer in cold weather. 4. When you enter the building, you may be directed to sit in a particular place. Please do not move chairs, as these may have been placed to facilitate physical distancing. 5. When applicable, please hang your coat on the back of your own seat and not on the coat-hooks in the corridor. For more information about Coronavirus, please see the Welsh Government Website.
